I don't know whether this warrants a new thread, but Anne Robinson is leaving the Weakest Link. The BBC will take the show off air next spring, according to The Guardian.

Maybe the thread may turn in Shake up for BBC daytime?

At least this quiz is going, it was alright at the start but now dull and boring. What could the BBC replace it with? will there move CBBC 15mins later? I just hope its not more 45mins of Housing programmes. or pointless..

10 years on air almost daily. Not bad.

It's very impressive for a show that has hardly changed in its look or set-up at all! Not even Millionaire managed that!

or pointless..

The statistics quiz with Alexander Armstrong? I like it.

I don't mind it, I just don't think we need it at 5.15 on bbc one, I doubt the bbc will bother to make any proper overhaul of the timeslot.

There has been talk of CBBC going to bbc two, etc

Maybe I'm imagining things, but was it not suggested a few years back when Neighbours moved to Channel 5, that the BBC would consider an early-evening repeat of Doctors at some stage in the future?

Perhaps a 5.30pm Doctors repeat and a 15-minute extension to CBBC, restoring a traditional post-5pm slot for Blue Peter?

Bugger that for a laugh. Half hour normal quiz Show from 5pm and then move The One Show back to 5:30; freeing up 7pm for proper telly.

How many new episodes a year have they been airing anyway - it's a show where they can basically air repeats and people don't particularly notice.

Why would they ever move the channel's flagship show back to a timeslot when no-one will watch it?

I think ITV has spectacularly demonstrated the consequences of just such a move...

I would say Eastenders was the channels Flagship show?
