Anglia Endboard (Granada)

I've just seen the end of Great Little Breaks on Anglia, and I've not seen the purple and white rendering of the Anglia logo on the endboard before.

It's also got the Granada name on it too. I have it on video, and might be able to get a digital photo of the screen if any one's interested.

I still think the Anglia logo looks better in yellow and blue...

Just one of the many GMG endboards we have already seen I am afraid...

I didn't mention it earlier but on the Anglia Sunday moring religous show, the end said A GRANADA Production for anglia, using the GMG logo. I should say this was after the short-lived attempt at Granda Production for REGION. Trisha has a GR^N^D^ production for also, so has anglia gone to generic only just, or is this just a case of not knowing about Generics.

Has anyone else noticed that the Anglia logo in the Anglia-endcap-purple-version is too wide?

The Anglia purple endcap looks naff, the Granada, Gr^n^d^ and Tyne Tees ones look quite good. Needs coloured logos in their correct aspect ratios though.....

By the way the brand new series 'In a Different Light' (Tuesday, 7.30 on Yorkshirrrrre)

still used the blue YTV endcap at the end, even though the purple one has been seen on regional productions.

There is a posibility that this programme was made a couple of months ago, and made before the new endcaps appeared

Have Border got GMG purple endcaps yet?

As the logo is just BORDER , the background would look very boring. Do you suppose the 'chopsticks-in-a-bowl' logo might make a comeback?

Border are apparently getting a new logo soon, so NO to a return of the chopsticks! Also, they don't have a purple endcap - yet!

I caught sight of the Meridian endcap before. Very nice, but the Meridian sun looks a little off-centre in the box! The background is one of the nicest I've seen though. It was after Meridian News this lunchtime.

on the subject of anglia end-caps, i saw a nice flags era caption at the end of the where the heart is repeat (not that i watch where the heart is) - they used a 'united' production cap followed by an anglia flags era caption.

i thought id mention it for anyone who wants to get a screen capture of it.

So which do you prefer?

I found the old one from the bowels of my hard-drive. Not sure which era - the one before the yellow/orange background?

I have to say...I love the GMG Purple look and have the generic GMG Group background as my wallpaper (replacing the Breakfast one).  Very very nice indeed.
