Well tomorrow sees the 50th anniversary of Anglia Television. Theres been a man on a horse going round in circles. A flag made by Lambie Nairn which main aim was to make an ident to take them into the 21st Century. Technically it did, the same flag lasted for 12 years. There's been BC the bear, Knightmare, Sale Of The Century and Tales Of The Unexpected.

These days the only thing left that is regional is the news itself but it is running an all week look back. Heres the link for the first look back here

I see what you're saying. I personally think there are only 2 things that Anglia would be remembered for.
On screen: The Knight (what was so old fashioned about it I do not know?)
The flag(what random credit that was no sure I was keen on it, especially with the dull music it had)

It is good that they are showing their 50 years on Air but I think the 1 thing Anglia should be remembered for is:
KNIGHTMARE the big 80s kids show which a lot of Anglia viewers will probabley have forgoittwn as it was a networked show! But id like to think it was one of their biggest successes. It would be ncie if they could mention this show!

I liked how they kept putting the KNight in at every opportunity! Let's rub itvs noses in it lol!
