Of course there is!

Mind you, it's no better than the rest of the week.

Anglia News should be relaunched soon, anyway.

Anglia has news within Sunday Supplement, the political prog, around 12.50pm and a longer stand-alone bulletin around 6pm.

And as for a relaunch.... mmm. You just never know.

Does anyone remember the Anglia green furry/fuzzy/suede look desk with bobbly bits to hide the computer screens. (Does anyone remember ENPS"]BASYS?!)

ISTR it was used in the early 90s - just after Anglia split their news programmes for the East and West... Saying goodbye to 'About Anglia' and hello to 'Anglia News East and West'...

What about Border and Channel News on Sundays?

Every region has at least two bulletins each day, usually at lunchtime and early evening on Saturdays and Sundays.

But of course!

Don't get me started on the amount of newsroom relationships that started on that lovely green-screen monster.

Indeed... On ENPS"]BASYS it was just a little too easy to get who you were talking ABOUT and who you were talking TO swapped over I seem to remember...

And the tell-tale pings of people bashing away at keyboards messaging each other... ENPS just isn't the same.

I quite like the current Anglia News actually. It's one of my favourite regional news shows, on a clear day (clouds limit me to LT/LDN and 'Ridi/SET) - interestingly although I sometimes get Anglia I can never get BBC East...
