Sounds like this one was not unexpected, he had dementia for four years. I must admit, it's a good idea waiting to announce it until after the funeral. Keeps the crowds away and lets the family grieve in peace.

Saturday 12th April 2003 with Waldorf Salad.
24th January 2004 was FT's last BBC Two airing (The Germans), and it was also aired on BBC Four last August 18th 2007. (Waldorf Salad).

Surprising it hasn't been aired on the BBC on any network for the best part of the last 10 years.
