Not worthy of a new thread so I'll put it in here but C4 News came to an abrupt end for Meridianland viewers on analogue during the credits - black screen for a minute then that blue transmitter generated caption with typewriter font and something about 'getting it back as soon as we can'. Didn't last long before it returned.

I actually think there's been a power issue somewhere in the country, though I've not spotted anything on news sources about it. There was a few seconds loss of power where I am in Anglia around 7ish, and a few web servers we work with in the UK mysteriously stopped resolving domains around the same time for about an hour.

Yeah there was also some tx trouble around C4 as well, (Not sure if they are related)

It looks like a problem with the "East/South" part of Channel 4's LEMNUS network to me, obviously problems with the feed coming out of HFR.

How come on that caption it says 'Channel 4 - IBA' ? I thought they went back in the 1990's??

They did go, but that screen is from before they went, they posted it to give an idea of what the recent screen looked like.

Oh did any one get to see what it looked like and got a phot of it ?

Someone got a very bad photo. From what I saw, it was exactly the same but without IBA mentioned, and the first line had 'apologise' instead of 'are sorry'.
