An Audience With.....

I today bought An Audience with Billy Conolly on DVD today and it was very very funny. But one thing which I was puzzled at the end was that it said that it was made in 1985 and with the format they must have filmed it on it is. But there was an endcap which really confused me which had....

LWTP: An LWT Production for Channel Four

But if I am not mistaken but isn't An Audience with.. supposed to be on ITV for a start? And secondly since when in the mid 1990's did Channel 4 actually repeat such shows? But I would have thought that Granada would have used the original version of it from 1985, as I was suprised to see an LWTP Endcap. I don't know about you, I am confuses by this!

And most of the first series of Upstairs Downstairs is now made in 1996; the LWTP endcap is very unpredictable.

It was originally on C4 - 26th Oct 1985 at 11pm, according to the Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy. C4 originally showed 7 of the first 11 progammes, over a 7 year period.

Are ITV resting this format - it's been a while since the last one.
