An Audience with...

Anyone know the date at least some of the programmes were recorded because Stephen Gately is in the audience, who died in 2009.

Plus I think I caught last weeks where Christine Bleakley opened the programme, but doesn't feature in tonights which is about Celine Dion.

These all seem to be new because my EPG doesn't state a 'rpt'

EDIT: This programme was definitely filmed in at last 2009. Stephen Gately has appeared twice. So this would explain why Christine doesn't appear in tonights, so I now assume these have been recorded with various gaps inbetween recording. So other week, could have been a more recent recording.

This one has been on before said in the mirror mag (r), I think the others the weeks before this were new though.

I think I found another old episode via itv.com

An Audience with Cliff Richard

Lots of people we used to see on ITV. Fiona Philips with an older hair style and one of the girls from Airline. Bobby Davro and Anthea Turner in the audience too. Plus Jeremy Beadle who died in 2008.

I only saw the promo too but was that 'An Audience with...' programme? I don't think it was, it might have even been called something like 'For the final time' or something like that.

Simply Red did have "An Audience With" programme, which is dated as being from 1998 originally.

at least one blog makes mention that this particular episode may have been repeated as recently as September 2010, though from the style of the post she doesn't appear to have realised it was a re-run, though it's likely have to had its original end-board replaced as we discussed not so long ago:

The Christine Bleakley thing may have been a trailer or sting for Daybreak. They were all over the place and then some more.

That was 1999, IIRC, when he first performed the Millenium Prayer.

Surely that 'Audience with Jasper Carrott' show mentioned in Wikipedia refers to a completely different show? Sounds like the name was re-used a few years later coincidentally.

Is Christine doing new 'An Audience with...' shows?

I saw her front the Simply Red farewell show a few weekends back - but that wasn't 'An Audience with...' it was a different format.
