How come An Audience With.. seems to be making a bit of a comeback. I know it never ended but it's been a while since one was broadcast and they've had one for the past two weeks now.

In my point of view, it's not An Audience With without a comedian. Wink


I think they should commission An Audience With Ken Dodd 3 straightaway!

Anyone know the Audience With... that has had the highest viewing audience-share/ratings?

An Audience With... Lily Savage

Lily Savage hasn't done "An Audience With..." (LWT-produced)!! She did "An Evening With..." (Carlton-produced).

I think that the Carlton/"Evening" ones first started to appear in the mid-late 1990s, which approximately coincided with the LWT/"Audience" ones changing from comedians to singers.

The LWT/"Audience" ones seem to mostly be singers these days, but I'm sure that Ken Dodd's 2nd one came after singer-y ones had started to appear.

There's not been very many Carlton/"Evening" ones. In fact, I can't think of who apart from Lily Savage has done one. Anybody know?

I'm sure there was An Evening with Alf Garnett, but I can't think of any others.

also Back on topic, I have to agree, but I even if it wasn;t live I think there still would be problams! especail with him say WESTLIFE in that dam unfunny way!

...Did anyone else notice this.. or was it just me.... I'm sure he said at the right end of the show, after all the thank you's etc... and with all the excitment of the show,,,, 'See you all in 19....' then he must have realised and stoped talking' (as in...See you all in 1999?)!!!! Cool
