Moria Stewart is standing next to Alistair Stewart. Laughing

Just had to say that. All very good so far especially the dancing on the ceiling effect.

Within the next two weeks they should do An Audience With.. Noddy Holder! I'd love that. Razz

How come An Audience With.. seems to be making a bit of a comeback. I know it never ended but it's been a while since one was broadcast and they've had one for the past two weeks now.

In my point of view, it's not An Audience With without a comedian. Wink

Probabaly because we this time of year they are bringing out all the big programmes because of Christmas advertising.

We had "An Audience with Coronation Street" earlier in the year. I enjoyed that despite the questions obviously being fixed.

Enjoying this, but gosh what a grumpy audience. Most in there to ensure people know they're still on the 'circuit' I can only presume - I'd much rather a wholelly public audience if they were going to be chirpier than this bunch. I did laugh at Moira and Alaister together too Laughing

The two newsreaders look to be enjoying themselves, mind.

I wonder how much the so-called celebrities get paid to go to these things, or are they paid as if extras?

I really think this lot must have been paid a lot or were just there to get their face on the box as hardly any of them seemed to be enjoying it, imagine how Lionel must have felt looking out! The Take That one was great - it really seemed as if everyone had been looking forward to it and were having a great time.

I'm glad the Audience with... series has made a return - and it's live too, which is all the better in my opinion. Rounds off a nice evening on ITV1.

Yeah, you could tell Lionel was trying to liven up the audience but failed. I think a lot of them just wanted to get down China Whites or whatever bar it is.

China Idiots? Where is that bar? Is it near Soho Square perchance? I would hope to have a spritzer with Moira and Alastair.

Agreed - A very poor show.

He was clearly struggling to read the Autocue, had not taken the time to learn the names of those who were asking the questions, and appeared completely thrown by Nikki Sanderson's question.

Too many slow songs also made for a damp atmosphere, and poor direction constantly showed indifferent looking members of the audience.

Certainly not one of LWT's best - a pre-record would have made for a better show.
