This is very worrying in terms of platform neutrality. It's bad enough that Sky keeps Atlantic to itself, but now BT will be keeping similar content to itself, at least for the near future.

It's nothing new though and generally speaking these channels sign an exclusive contract to get them off the ground before becoming available on more platforms later.

10 years late. The number of people who will subscribe (long term) to a specific Pay TV service to access one/two specific programmes is dwindling.

With Sky Atlantic, at least Sky were able to offer the channel and it's HBO content to non Sky customers via NOW TV.

Is there anyone who's really going to buy BT's package purely for this channel? I doubt it unlike BT Sport.

Report that this channel will be offered Free of Charge to ALL BT TV customers INCLUDING those currently Sports only on the Sky Platform.

Would be odd for them to offer it via Sky when it really could be their first weapon into people taking BT TV at a platform more seriously.

First trailer seen for AMC in the second HT break of MNU-TOT, interesting to see that they promise some AMC content on BT Showcase too.
London Lite and dvboy gave kudos

Initial schedule looks grim ....

Website launched with schedule, incidentally it's part-time too,

Horrid website too - timings seem to be an hour out on the schedule too while most their highlights seem to be things already seen on Sky.

There's nothing of interest that'd make me want to buy a BT product to get this channel. Unlike Sky Atlantic.....
