Give the guy a break, sunrise! Rolling Eyes I have mates who have dyslexia. He's not a troll, I've seen some valid points made from him.

I think you should think about what you're saying before jumping to conclusions like that.

I agree with you completely. Too many threads just get bogged down with the pedantic spelling and grammar police who are quick to criticise others, and post pictures of trains, without actually ever making a valid point connected to the thread.

As for ITV changing its name, I can't see that happening as it is a well established brand, and one of the "benefits" (in ITV's eyes) in removing the regional names and logos was to strengthen the recognition of ITV brands in this multi-channel world we are now in.

ITV is a horrible name - even more so if they launch ITV Radio. How about the British TV Company? BTV or BTVC or just TVC.
Perhaps IUK - Independent UK? Or a non abbreviated name such as Core1 Core2 Core3 CoreNews - crazy names like that may be catchy. At the core of entertainment, the core of drama, getting to the core of news.

The Core is already a radio station.

How about "Indyvision" or "Indyview"

Sounds like a take-away - pehaps just Vision - VBC or VTV!

Once they decide who they are aiming their programming at they could come up with a suitable name. ITV Plc seems to have lost its direction proberbly down to the fact that accountants don't make good programmes.

If they're gonna expand into radio, the television-biased name "I TV " will be no good!

How about "ITAR" (Independent Television And Radio)??? I can be pronounced as a word!

EDIT: Okay, I've nicked the word "ITAR" from the 1996 Paul McGann Doctor Who tele-movie (it was the name of a science facility - the Institute for Technological Advancement and Research). Rolling Eyes
