Does anyone else think that 'Sandstorm' by Darude would sound fantastic as the music for BBC News? The quieter bit which sounds slightly like the regional 'coming up' vamp would be good for the headlines, building up to the main tune for the titles (which would have to be speeded up and made more colourful).

Just a thought.

Anyone else think of any good replacements for the music on BBC News (or any other news programmes come to think of it)? Anyone who says 'I'd leave it as it is 'cos I love it so much' will be slapped with a fish.

Well I think the music should stay as it is, because it's all fantastic! I only wish they could release a CD which features all of the variations.

So now, I better look out for that fish:D

Gary.
BTW, I've just e-mailed the BBC regarding the proposed Advert Filler CD, which still has nothing said about it on the BBC World website!

I don't know...
The flags theme music, was more flexible because many variations could be created without being so exausting as the variations of the 'corporate' era.
One example is 'Business Today', 7days, oneIIone, etc..
