This is not usual for her to do this shift...or is it? Confused

Anyway she's probably doing it as it's a Bank Holiday.

What are you talking about, Ryan?

I think he was commenting that she has defected to Sky News from ITN News Channel. Or at least freelancing. (Sky uses overnights to test presenters, don't they?)

Yep, Overnights is basically Sky's audition time. It used to be either Allan King or Gordon Radley only on overnights but now they are using more freelancers. Steve Dixon just recently moved from overnights to daytime.

While we are on the subject of Sky's presenters, Julie Etchingham got a bit of a shock on this morning's Sunrise. They were reading out emails when Simon McCoy asked her whether she had ever worn a silly hat. I can't remember what she replied but they started to roll some tape of a distinctly younger Ms Etchingham in 1981 throwing a Union Jack Hat at someone at some sort of party. She screamed. Loudly.

Very funny.

I saw that as I was getting ready to go home. One of the best gotchas I've seen in a long time...
