Alexander Casino

Monte Carlo Game now has it's own channel (864 on Sky). They are now called Alexander Casino and they have at least one new presenter, a woman called Jemma. The old presenters from their slot on Information TV still seem to be there (I've only seen Steven so far) but they only spin the roulette wheel now. I suppose their links couldn't be used because they mentioned the old name.

The music remains unchanged.

Gambling channel = complete waste of channel space. Good job it isn't on DTT/Freeview.

I notice that it seems to be called TV Roulette by alexandercasino.com during the stings, The Alexander Casino by Jemma, and another female presenter I didn't catch the name of, and players are told to register on montecarlogame.com at the bottom.

I wonder if BDA were involved again with these new links. I also wonder if the two unused presenters from the original batch will show up at any point.

Also, I recognise this presenter on the site, but I can't put my finger on who it is...
EDIT: He appears to be a man with an American accent. I think he just happens to have the same eyebrows as Cris St Valery, hence the confusion.

If they are making money from it then it can hardly be called a waste of channel space. I am not sure why someone in the UK would choose to play roulette with Alexander Casino though. It seems there are already better options in the form of the live channels if that's what floats your boat and quicker options online if you prefer an automated game. Presumably they are making money though as they tested on Information TV for a while before they launched this channel.

The idea is the same as Monte Carlo TV which used to broadcast on Sky a few years ago and I believe was a spin off from Avago. Like Alexander Casino, it was a completely automated channel with recorded links and live statistics and leader boards. I wonder why that channel closed.

The game seems to be continuing though, with numbers being drawn, so it is likely to just be a problem with their automated video system.
