Very sad news. He was always rather good on Call My Bluff and various Radio 4 panel games, notably the News Quiz.

Very sad news indeed. He was a great broadcaster. He will be missed.

How do we know this news isn't just a great big bluff?

Haha, it is true sadly.

I remember him appearing daily in the mid-90s with Bob Holness and Sandi Toksvig on Call My Bluff.

Sad loss.

A tremendously warm, funny, witty, intelligent man.

I'll miss his input into all British media.

Yes my view of Alan Coren entirely. I loved his column in The Times , always sparkling with wit. He made a great double act with Sandi Toksvig on CMB too.

I echo those thoughts and had wished for the return of Call My Bluff with Alan Coren.

Sad news, my only recollection of him was on Call My Bluff but he was a great panel member.
