Interesting... the new episodes (the first of which aired last night) are not (c)itv, but (c) Agatha Christie Ltd. The new logo incorporates the official trademark "signature" logo of Agatha Christie Ltd as well, which means that the old art deco logo (and David Suchet walking under a series of spotlights) is now a thing of the past.

Still a very good programme - Well done ITV! (never really say that!) Make some more - or at least repeat them on ITV2!

I fell asleep watching it, but I didnt notice the usual music theme didnt feature in the first few minutes of it, did it get used at all?

No, your right- the famous theme music wasn't used at all. I was waiting for it. Very nice toning though on the filming.

There was a hint of the old music in the end theme, it was quite subtle though.

There are another three to come from the new batch. It says on www.tvtome.com what they are but I can't remember them.

Shame Captain Hastings & Inspector Jepp (sp?) werent in it. They did add a slight entertainment value. I can't beleive they started filming them in 1989!

Yes...where did the theme tune disappear to??? I was hoping to get a recording of it cos I was going to try and play it on my keyboard.

Hopefully, the next one on Boxing Day will have the theme tune!!! It is not the same without it!

Since there are four in this batch, I think they meant "there are twelve more books to be filmed - after this, eight - and David wants to finish them all.".
