The new 'Advertise on Yorkshire Television, your regional ITV1' advert was used, in the middle of Calendar and 10 minutes later, after Calendar tonight!

To those of you in the Belmont area of YTV..?

Do you get adverts, such as those for Meadowhall and The White Rose Centre (Leeds) ??

On STV we get an ad similar to this and is usually followed by 3 or 4 local ads. 'Here at Scottish Tv we are exploding the myths of television advertising with Micro Regions [sounds like a 3-minute snack]. Now you can get through to people in the best possible way. Micro Regions, Maximum Impact.'

In the junction before the ITV News Summary on This Morning on Wednesday, we were treated to half a dozen or so local ads. Looks really funny to see your local furniture shop or whatever advertised before an ITN news bulletin.

Anyone else get local ads during networked programmes ?

The adverts have been on YTV loads of times today, at least 6!.

Plus the Granada version was shown at the same time.

Is there a BORDER one in the same style?

Anyone any captures of any of these ads (or the ITV Xmas '01 animation)

HTV use the same ones as Carlton. The name of the station is never mentioned by the announcer, so they are identicall until the end where there is an HTV hearts background instead of a Carlton stars one. The URL on the HTV one is carlton.com/mediasales.

Well it hasn't been shown since itv.com appeared on the idents.

Yeah, it was shown twice on Granada this afternoon (Sunday), no mention of Granada apart from on-screen, all this talk about 'Regional ITV1' (something for the future?).  Missed getting a capture though!

Yup, Carlton have done this ever since they rebranded Central and Westy.  

Central was doing this as well for a couple of years before the re-brand as well.

It says something like 'Advertising on Granada Television has never been easier, Regional ITV1 Its the business'

Yes it does. I saw it earlier today during my Sunday afternoon continuity watch (sad eh? -- well actually that's the first time I've actually bothered to watch several channels one after another like that, but...)

Confirmed, there is a BORDER version as well as YTV,TTTV & GRA.
