Adrian Chiles to leave BBC

There's been a few hints at the story, Jimmy Carr made an aside a couple of days after it was announced

Matt Alright is going to temporarily replace Chiles from Monday, except for Thursdays which will be filled by guest presenters. The first of which will be Paul Merton, which is a good and interesting booking

Speaking of Matthews: On last week's Wright Stuff, Matthew Wright flatly denied taking over at The One Show, saying it was one of those made-up stories in the papers-- to which Ian Hyland quickly quipped: "I thought that sort of thing stopped when you quit the newspapers"!

I hope they make some kind of references to it being Adrian's last show on Friday (assuming that's when he goes) it will be totally lacking in respect to the viewer otherwise.

Also why is it taking so long for tonight's One Show to appear on iPlayer? It makes a mockery of this statement "Coming today BBC One at 7:00 pm BBC iPlayer soon after".

Sometimes shows have to get re-edited to remove content that can't be shown on iPlayer for rights reasons, particularly sports content.

And Adrian's last moments on the One Show have arrived. Showing a Clichéd montage as expected.

What would you have preferred them to show?

I would have liked to seen him bungee jump out of that window.

It's not often I see The One Show two days on the run, but I caught it tonight, the only thing that surprised me was that Adrian and Christine didn't kiss , but considering he's going to the opposition, he got a decent send off.

There was a clip of a kiss in the clips montage. They were on the sofa behind that Tory prat Brandreth.

What was all that about?
