Actor John Hewer known to millions as Captain Birdseye dies

BBC News is reporting that John Hewer who played the role of the enigmatic Captain Birdseye from 1967 until 1998 has died at the age of 86.

I am sure that all will want to join in expressing their condolences for the passing of this great performer and their best wishes towards his family.

God this reminds me of the time they got rid of him for the 'young' Captain Birdseye, what a stupid idea that was.
