So glad they went to so much trouble!

Clearly they have no respect for TV Forumers Evil or Very Mad

What a wonderful way to mark the end of 3 years of broadcasting - a short ident followed by a black screen.
So glad they went to so much trouble!

Lol - I know - but you'd have thought there had been an announcement or at least a caption. I'm sure there are hundreds of housewives checking that their aerials are plugged in correctly right now...

Is there a caption appearing at all now on screen? Not near TV so can't check.

OMG! Sky were quick off the mark - it's gone from the EPG already!!! Shocked

I left TV on EPG 170 and it just reverted to 998

I wonder if abc1's closure has caused Digital Spy to go down? Laughing

It has also just been removed from Freeview channel 15 (at Crystal Palace, anyway).

If the channel's closure was previously advertised as next Wednesday then it seems remarkable that all platforms have reacted so quickly to an earlier date.

I recall that ITV News was left with "programmes no longer available" on the Sky EPG for days after their closure. When a channel is replaced (such as Ftn with Virgin 1 on Monday the EPG will undoubtedly change on Sky during the normal 10:00-11:00 update).

Perhaps the EPG Managers are just becoming more efficient.
