I would've thought the BBC would've kept hold of that.

Then again, Nick Park said that they can all be made again.


As Nick himself said, the real loss was the storyboards and other work-in-progress artwork they created. All the models can be made again and again - as they are for every feature produced.

All in all, no major loss.

exactly - the models melt in under the lights iirc so they have to be replaced frequently.
