The Aardman Studios in Bristol, creators of Wallace & Gromit, Morph, Creature Comforts, Rex the Runt & Angry Kid have had their whole entire history up in flame in a fire at their studios. The only part of Aardman's work that was not destroyed was plans and models for the current W&G film which is currently on tour.

Devastating news i'd say, Some of Britains best film work has now gone up in flames.

What makes it even worse is that some of their work had just come back from a tour in Japan. If only it had been there a few more weeks...

The fire was not at the studios but at a warehouse where past props and equipment was stored. The current Aardman operation is unaffected. It's the history which has gone.

You can't have loved him that much.

Nrobably, although remember that none of the models were kept because the modelling clay deteriorates

I would've thought the BBC would've kept hold of that.

Then again, Nick Park said that they can all be made again.
