the music always sounds better when on TV, especially on Nicam.
I was listning to the opening titles of Reporting Scotland the other day on my Nicam TV and I notiecd the
chi chi ji wadda
in the background which you can't hear otherwise.
Plus the longer the countdown is the more impressive the backing track becomes.
Yes,via the video at TV Ark I saw the fact that all the track was at 90 was 'Bum bum,boop boop,Bum Bum,boop boop' etc,then it just gets better,espeially at the 20 mark!

Nice musical description there - although I think the music to the countdown should be replaced (Because IMO it's not 'newsy' enough!)

Yeah, I would also like to see a change in the countdown. Not that I don't like the one we have or anything, but we've now had if for 2 years, and it's the same tune every hour! So I would like to see a more up-beat version, possibly with a more BBC World sounding or The World Today!
