60 seconds

Sorry if this has been covered already, but which studio does 60 seconds come from, and are the technical crew shared with some other programme?

60 Seconds comes from the same studio as Liquid News. Liquid News sometime features the 'holey' edge of the 60 Seconds set in a wideshot, by shooting the Liquid News set through the holes!

The studio is TC11 (Which used to be called N2 and housed the 1/6/10 when they were all broadcast from a similar blue set)

The same studio crew work on 60 Seconds as Liquid News, though their jobs are slightly different. Liquid News has its own director, who only directs the 1900 60 Seconds (as it is only 30'-1'00' before Liquid News) , the director of the later 60 Seconds does a different studio job during Liquid News. 60 Seconds only needs one camera person and so I think one of the Liquid News studio camera operators does on the road cameras, shooting reports, during the day.

(And yes - the 1/6/9 did come from N6 in Branded Blue form before the Lambie Nairn re-launch as well...)

Obviously the N6 newsroom image is back-projected, but is N6 actually on the same floor as the newsroom, or in a separate bit of the building?

And is N8 (news 24) on the floor above, as I seem to remember someone saying it came from when first launched?

N6 is on the same floor as the News Centre - it's just through three doors round the back of the centre which is on the first floor of Stage 6 at TV Centre (the front of which still looks a mess).

I walked past N6 several times yesterday and directly opposite is a small make-up room!

N6 gallery is in the main News centre newsroom on the 1st floor in Stage VI.

N6 studio is, as Steve says, through a few sets of doors further into the building. It is technically in Stage V! (which was built before Stage VI!)
