Yes I thought the sound left rather a lot to be desired. The audience seemed like they'd been in that BBC audience hospitatlily lounge supping the Stellas for hours didn't they!
Well my vote went to Gina. She even answered the phone to me, that was nice of her! Check it out!
Yes its always good to see Uncle Stu, although it has to be said he's starting to look his age! Still, a fine choice of Manchester representitive. I assume Bez was busy.
Can I apologise on behalf of the people of Scotland for us a) voting for Katie Price and b) those two gimps who were presenting things up here in what looked like the Newsnight Scotland studio without furniture. At least some degree of common sense prevailed.
Btw - was it just me or was there a wardrobe malfunction during Javine's winning performance there? Or was that just wishful thinking...

Not wishful thinking - I think there was definitely a bit of a nipple slip!!
They were really going for creating a sort of "mini-Eurovision" this time around, weren't they, even down to Natasha changing before the results... It kind of worked. Entertaining TV, though - cheap, but entertaining.
Congratulations to Javine..
It was a close call.
Ouch! could you sense the tension between Jordan and Javine when Javine shook Jordans hand as she was announced the winner.
Why the hell was Jonathan (I'm far too important not be on telly) Ross doing on the judges panel. He had nothing constructive to say other than be rude and unfair about the artists other than Jordan. This man is good on his chat show but totally over rated on everything else. Even the chap from Channel 4 said he would never poach him from the beeb because he is an out dated, one trick pony, like Tarby!
Incidentally, I am so pleased that jordan didn't win. She sang off key and the song was bloody awful. I actually wanted Tricolore to win because I think they could have won the contest for us. It reminded me of the Danish "wings of Love" song a few years back. However, people don't seem to vote in this country for likely Eurovision winners. They vote for the standard pop song sung by women with breasts popping out and would be a potential good shag! That is why we never win! (Sorry for my crudeness but it is a valid point!) After all, Jemini were crap on the night but the recorded version of Cry Baby was a typical teeny bop British pop song that Steps or S Club 7 could have sung but had no place in eurovision. James Fox last year was a good song but failed to win due to the baltic political vote as France and Germany never do particularly well either. this year's song is a desperate attempt to win by the inclusion of ethnic sounds but I fear it will again lose out to the Baltic vote. Until the scoring system is completely overhauled, the Eurovision Song Contest is a pointless exercise that will be won each year by the countries from the Warsaw Pact. Even on the night itself last year, Croatia, Ukraine, FYROM, Bosnia, etc were all saying and the 12 points go to our neighbours.......etc. Perhaps, instead of a semi final, they should have a Baltic Song Contest and the winner of that region goes on to the main contest, thus keeping the numbers down to 18 countries each year and the scoring system not being reduced to a political farce, because despite anyone's differing viewpoint, that is exactly what it is!
It's probably a good thing that Katie Price didn't win. I wouldn't have wanted to see her wearing the same thing in May when she would be 8 months pregnant.... the poor child wouldn't be able to breathe!!
