Hi all,

Tonight the 5 acts battling to become the UK's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 will be released on Top of the Pops. Two of the acts are already known Jordan (Katie Price) and Gina G. Making Your Mind Up is on 5th March, presented by Terry Wogan and... (oh how surprising) Natasha Kaplinsky!

Toodles,
Joel.

When I read this post the first time I only read Gina G was taking part and I thought how retro then reading it properly, I noted that that pig ugly dog Jordan was taking part and I thought kill me now. If that bint wins I for one we will be willing on another nil point!

I love Eurovision but that is a rather bad collection of hasbeens.

Three failed pop stars and a Z list slapper. I think I will look forward to the 50th All Stars final in October... wonder if Abba will reform for one night only?

Why is it that each time this show comes round there's always at leats one Fame Academy or Pop Idol reject. Is there actually an unknown in there?

I think they have gone through the bottom and out the other side.

The line up is certainly different.

Whilst most blokes have seen Jordan's breasts several times and having intentionally missed "I'm A Has Been Get Me Out Of Here", what little I hear of Ms Price does seem to confirm that what some have between their ears, she has in her boobs!

Andy Scott-Lee is famous for being...bother of Lisa Scott-Lee who isn't all tha famous herself, of course, what with Steps having disbanded. Andy had a dab at pop stardom himself and then entered the X Factor where he managed to make the final stages, I think.

Gina G represented the UK in 1996 with the Steve Rodway (Motiv Cool/Simon Tauber penned eurodance anthem "Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit". What many people don't realise is that the very next day after Eurovision, the song finally reached the UK Number One slot having tussled with George Michael's offering for the best part of a month. In addition, "Ooh Aah..." went on to sell more than 2 million copies worldwide and allowed Ms Gardiner to begin a pop career released 5 further singles from her "Fresh" album. Alas, a bitter legal wrangle between Simon Tauber and Gina G, against Steve Rodway, effectively ended her career prematurely.

The other two acts I can't tell you much about, off the top of my head.

...Its okay (javines song), but this is the UK, not Turkey. Not sure if the ethnic theme to the song will prove a success from the Brits?!?
