Didn't see the show - and as someone who grew up in the region during the Southern and TVS eras - did they show programmes like Out of Town?


Jack Hargreaves was mentioned and the 80s horse and cart titles were shown briefly.

They also managed to hire clips back from Southern Star (i.e. How and House Party) but we didn't see much.

There was a far better, and more detailed programme back in December 04, to 'celebrate' the closing of Northam. That had footage from the 1960s. Julian Pettifer on Day By Day, and also ISTR original VT footage of the OB Boat, The Southerner. They'd have done better simply to have repeated that programme. Out of Town was featured for about 15 seconds.
