It is 50 years today since the BBC Started to broadcast to the North from
Holme Moss Transmitter

There was a 4.5 minute long piece about it on Look North

- It started with the current Look North going into B&W with Christa and Harry

- Then a report from Ian White-I'm Ian White (who's interested in telly if you've read his
bit on the Look North site)

- a look at some old Tv's at Bradford's NMPFT
- A Former BBC Employee was interviewed in the current Look
North Self Opt Studio with her back to the self-opt camera (which still looks old!)

- Yellow & Blue Rotating 'N' Ident was then shown into the Nationwide titles
- Former BBC North Continuity Announcer Brian Baines was then interviewed
- He was sat in the Self-Opt studio, (The one Peter Levy does Breakfast and
Sundays from) which isn't really that small
- He then did a traditional closedown

It didn't mention about the comedy 'All Creatures Great And Small' then? That was filmed in Yorkshire.
