Heads up for those watching tonight's '50 Years of BBC Two Comedy' programme, rain at the golf has delayed it from 9.00 to 9.30, so adjust any recordings you may have set.

Well, hopefully any decent PVR would have known from the updated EIT triggers that the show was delayed, and automagically offset the timings. My You View box did so perfectly, hopefully the same for Sky and Virgin boxes ?

Don't know about Sky, but I think Virgin boxes have an EPG supplied by someone else which doesn't always update on short notice.

Better to be safe and tell everyone than be sorry...

Did anyone else feel slightly dismayed at the awful model of the striped =2= used in the programme?

A shame since all the other models were well done, apart from the 1967 '2' with the missing dot. I wouldn't mind owning that glass model of the 1986 'TWO'.

That was particularly well done.

It really was. Endless laugh out loud moments. And of course great to see all that new TVC footage. Not much seems to have changed on the sixth floor.

I would pick out standout moments but for me the whole show was a standout. Just a pure hour long piss take of everything, including themselves (well Harry Enfield anyway).

With the rounded bottom corner? Yes - not quite sure how it ended up like that...

Was a great programme - covered a lot of ground. Really liked the idea of the various symbols comped onto old television sets between bits, yet strange to hear music from the other idents being dubbed over the mute ones - for example Swan's soundtrack added to the 70s cube!?

Interesting to see Michael Palin and Terry Jones interviewed against a separate (but genuine) backdrop and actually shown with a model 2 - from Mirror.

Agreed, though Harry Emery's (!) Thatcher and Whitehouse's Mary Berry were great.

Oh and full marks for the amazing camera work and its multitude of angles and shots around TVC - especially the one looking down through the centre of the stairwell with Paul right at the bottom.
