A range of different programmes have just been announced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of BBC2.

Programmes include the one-off return of comedy Goodness Gracious Me and a quiz called 'All About Two' hosted by Dara O Briain.

Remains to be seen if we'll see a documentary and special pres like we did for the 40th.

I like how the trailer DOG's rotation emulates the channel's first colour ident.

I like how for the '2' window, instead of using the current '2', they used the '2' from 1991 to 2007.

It would be the worlds most subtle change in history - would it really be worth the effort?

He means at the start of the above trail they've used the Lambie-Nairn "2" rather than the slightly different, 2007 onwards one.

Could have, maybe, used the '2' balloon, in amongst the 'regular' balloons, though Very Happy
Possible ident(s) for use with the forthcoming relevant programming?

They've even added in that 2 teapot that was used for a week or so during BBC2's english season in 1991.
