when does this launch?

I think it has - but its not a service that regular stb's will show as being video/audio active.

Its meant to be a data channel.

Yep - it mainly provides proprietary EPG data for DTT (aka Freeview) VCRs and PVRs. I believe that the Daewoo DTT VHS machine uses it (and is this the first VHS machine with an integrated Freeview tuner?)
