I never wanted to create an argument with anyone here. Something you said “got my back up” for seeming intelligence-insulting of others. And my criticism of it has in turn “got your back up”, thus creating a vicious circle, and a serious case of “now I’m no better than you” syndrome on my part.

Also, I would like to clarify a few apparent misunderstandings (no antagonism intended)...
Although the channel has not yet launched, where we now are in terms of confirmed and more specific info about how scheduling will be decided, all of our early misconceptions are indeed now “retrospective”, surely? That’s what I meant.
How would that even work?
I don’t know. I know nothing about making TV channels. I’m just an average member of the viewing public, who is just as prone as anyone else might be to taking vague and/or misleading press releases (etc) at face value, and assuming that there must be all sorts of weird and wonderful things that people in telly land can do that make what is apparently being proposed possible.

would have no idea what 4seven even is yet.

if
people-in-general had seen the same early publicity that us lot did, then I suspect that most of them would be likely to have interpreted the wording as meaning something like “Twitter users will decide the schedule” (or similar) too.

The channel has not launched yet.
I genuinely did think that it sounded like the schedule would be essentially "decided" by social media users (e.g. no more than, say, 24 hours in advance of broadcast, or similar).
I'd wager that most
people in general
(i.e. not solely "pres fans") would have interpreted much of the 4seven advance publicity in exactly the same way too.
