Even though social media didn't exist 10 years ago?

No it didn't, but the world did. TV shows were still "buzzed" about before twitter came along. The social media slant is just a desperate ploy to disguise the fact 4seven is basically a dinosaur, linear, catch-up service in an iplayer world. They'll be trumpeting the amazing compact disk next. I heard on twitter that they're the future.

Interesting animation: certainly different, but then again we expect that from C4. Wink

Any "schedules" announced yet as those for the week ending 6th July have now been released. I know they've said 8pm and 10pm will be Twitter picks and 9pm is C4+24 - but anything about the rest. Is it even 24seven?

I can't help but think the channel is going to fail from reading what is going to happen. They already have +1, E4 and More 4 which repeat and show the same crap all the time. There is 4OD on YouTube and their website if want to catch up.

I can't see what 4Seven brings to the table.

More advertising revenue.

I assume that it will be on 147 on Virgin, currently occupied by More4 (which would be the second time it's moved)

One thing that's occurred to me about it's scheduling is how will 'series link' style programming work?

The same as any other channel. Why would it be different?

I'm fairly sure Faceparty and things like MSN Network existed back in 2002.
