My younger sister, aged 16, has asked me this morning to retune her Freeview television, as every channel but 4Music was working fine. After retuning her TV, 4Music disappeared from the guide. Has Channel 4 removed 4Music from Freeview or is it a fault at our end?
Are you serious?

Right, the first thing to do is not to panic. Gentle reassurance of your no doubt baying for blood sister that she has not lost access to Price Drop (TV), Challenge (TV) or, god forbid, Smile(TV)1 should buy you some time. This could have been so much worse.
Now, what about the other channels on the 4Music Mux, such as Film4, Viva and Smile(TV)2? Have a gander at this and report back on what you can get.
Other than that, the usual stuff. Rooftop or indoor aerial? If just 4Music, how long has this been the case? I've once set up a brand new set that *was* just randomly dropping channels for no apparent reason. Faulty batch, I was informed and refunded.
True story.
