The show title is probably just because its a countdown, all Bauer/Channel 4 channels do the same. I don't expect that to be there all the time.

The DOG isn't exactly massive or intrusive and its no worse than The Hits one Confused .

I think the Dog is better than the Hits ones, even the number box is just white, The Hits one was fully coloured

Exactly. Hate the practice of having the programme title on screen - completely unnecessary.

And why do channels always launch with DOGs they have to make more transparent a few days later. ALWAYS! The one use on 4 Music Sundays wasn't as white. Apart from that though it's all looking good.

Davina is quite good on this, I suppose its like going back to school for her though because she was on MTV in the 90's. But then thats just coming from a biased Davina fan Laughing

If they're going to show the programme in widescreen and have a 4:3 video, cropping looks ridiculous and squashed so they should have black (or even dark pink) bars down the side. Obviously if its a show about videos in the 80's or something then it should just be in 4:3 in the first place. Thats my only criticism really.

It's been bugging me all week who's voice it was, until it finally clicked yesterday who it was! If it isn't her it's certainly someone who sounds like her! Laughing

Surely they could have found someone much less annoying to do the job - it's not as if she's going to be appearing in the channel at all.

Same here! It was doing my head in every time that advert came up, whether it was on TV or radio. Thanks for clearing up this for me!

Talking of ads doing your head in, the ads on the channel seems very low rate - that TVComps.com one is especially annoying.
