Sorry if this has been mentioned, but Israel's entry is unutterably dire.

It's the sort of thing someone might sing if they were taking the p-ss.

It's probably the funniest song I've ever heard on Eurovision - more so than the German guitar man.

Is there something wrong with the sound, the music is rather quiet with the mic volumes high, and nearly all of them sound off key.

The streaming is remarkably good

Christ almighty... Portugal are on now. I think there has to be something wrong with the sound, because off-key doesn't even come close to the past three singers.

The acoustics sound completely wrong; there are thousands in the audience and it sounds like ten people are clapping.

This has to be one of those points when you feel genuinely ashamed to be part of the same continent... and if there were ever debates about whether Turkey should be let in, let this end them, please!

Surprised that Andorra participate. I believe their entry was performed by half the population of the country..... all 5 of them!

Mind you Monaco's on now.

Don't know if it's the acoustics, sound mix or the singing, but they all sound dreadful,

Paddy is doing a good job with the commentary, although it would be nice to hear him a bit louder. Maybe I'm going deaf Confused

the tilted long camera shots are Very strange.
the Urkrane entry is very good seems to be a mixture of older and modern music

Well for people like me having to put up with web streaming, the audio quality is god awful, so it's good to know it's the same with TV and not an internet problem.

As for the contest as a whole, is it me, or is the quality of the songs generally poor? Not just the acoustics and tear-jerkingly bad levels and things, but the actual songs!

The Turkish presenters were also a bit dodgy to me - the bloke had his hands by his sides at all times and looked so awkward. During the break, the woman came up with the brilliant line "Alright! Is everyone here!"

And the graphic design and presentation is nothing too spectacular, is it? The opening sequence didn't scream Eurovision at all - it was very mediocre and quite held back.

All in all, "very strange" sums it up for me.

Agreed the sound mix is a bit poor but always does seem so on Eurovision.
But we did lose his commentary for a few mins earlier

I'm not too keen on the stage, seems like a rehash of last years on a smaller scale. Its nice to have something at least a little different each year.

I see what you mean about the male host, his suit looks like its soaking wet
