Four things that I'd like to note about tonight's BBC ONE:
1) There was no announcer speaking over the credits of Blue Planet and it was bliss.
2) You could quite clearly hear the director counting down to the news in the background whilst the announcer announced the news.
3) If Michael Buerk bangs his pen on the desk one more time before he starts, I'm gonna scream.
4) Incredible footage from the frontline in Afganistan. Chilling stuff but truely incredible.
