Have noticed that More 4 and +1 have been dogless for ages now.
Now I know the black more 4 dog is hard to see at the best of times and dose not stand out as much as e4's white dog, but anyone know why the channel is dogless.
Also, when flim four becomes free, how likely is it that it will be doged. I think almost 99.9% likely.
I read a website once about people's hatred of dogs and how they campaign to get rid of them etc and it leaves me thinking what's the highlight of year for these people? going out the house meeting people
Sorry that's nasty i've got no room to talk. Seriously tho I don't why it bothers people so much what's annoying about it? do you sit and stare at the corner of screen all night?

I don't see what the big hoo-hah is about DOGs, most channels they stay in one corner and usually one colour and don't really distract your viewing. There are far worse DOGs on TV, but these appear on channels that the majority don't watch that often, such as Music channels or stations you may watch for half an hour rather than a whole night.
Plus from a marketing point of view, getting your image, brand, identity and everything you stand for is rather important these days due to the amount of choice out available within the Digital TV market, whether this be good or bad.

The music channels are a joke, I only ever have them on now as backgroung msuic, I never actually "watch" them, as the graphics on most of them are far too numerous and annoying to be able to put up with.
The logos are getting bigger and more colourful, nearly all of them feel the need to tell us what programme/music video slot we're watching (Obviously, the EPG hasn't yet been invented), if it's a chart then the poisition is permanantly on-screen. There's scrolling banners, usually for competitions or forthcoming programmes, permanant & pop-up advertising, text message "games" telling me John is 82% horny (or whatever- I don't give a **** about these people or their sexual preferences). The Box, Magic & Smash Hits have "video windows" that pop up at regular intervals, they also have messages telling us what song is on next, The Box tells us the artist who is playing now, Q go the whole hog and tell us the song title as well- clearly we're all to thick to know who we're watching.
It's a joke, ridiculous. I'm suprised they don't tell us our TV is switched on, just in case we're so stupid we might forget, that's clearly how highly they think of their viewers. Until recently, it seemed on Chart Show & The Vault didn't have any of these annoying appendages, but now they have some permanant message with competition details. Clearly, they think we must be thick or impatient, and I would rather not give my viewership to these channels (and I wouldn't if there was another way to access the music videos). I understand how some of these graphics are designed to stop channel surfing- but when advert breaks are over 5 minutes long and full of Jamster adverts, it's hardly suprising.
