Channel 4 has confirmed it plans to launch it's second broadband channel following the success of FourDocs.
4Laughs will allow users to upload their own comedy creations in the same way FourDocs, offering "a platform for talented individuals to showcase their own comedy clips and sketches"

Meanwhile, another kids TV channel has been granted a licence by OFCOM - 4 Kids TV. Nothing to do with C4 though, as this comes from 4 Kids Entertainment, distributor of Pokemon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Yu-Gi-Oh!

I guess that's the disadvantage of naming your channel after a number - it's quite difficult to copyright!
