Where were TV Home Forum members during the 3 minutes silence yesterday? I was at work, I stood by our stationery cupboard, and once the 3 minutes were up I did the cross on myself ( where you touch yourself and say 'Father, son, holy spirit, amen' ).
I'm not usually religious, but yesterday I thought it was appropriate.
I was also at work, and we all stopped what we were doing and some of us was even crying, which is very understandable. I found it very emotional indeed!
I was at ****. For most of the morning I was the only person in the office and having not actually had either the TV or radio on that morning, I was unaware that anything was going on (or not going on). I was rather surprised when I heard about it later. Still, I don't really give a ****.
I was at college. In pure maths to be be precise. I was doing Surds, if anyone is interested. Probably not.
Do we go to the same college? I was doing exactly the same thing! Once I got the hang of them it was okay - I think the idea is not to think
too
hard as to why the logarithms work!
Maths confused me. I'm a languages person, not a maths person.
On recieving my maths result I searched out my maths teacher and questioned him as to why I needed to know the past two years of work - I did not get a reply.
As I'm sure I've posted in another thread, I was with my French tutor at the time.

I was in the middle of an AS Physical Geography lesson - looking at flood hydrographs and drainage basins. We didn't have it because my teacher forgot!!
I had my three minutes' silence twelve hours later at home.
