Ah, so after a quick search (much needed now that I'm old and a fuddy-duddy) AwesomenessTV produces new content America comedy and drama series for YouTube Red (which I think is similar to Netflix?). As you have to subscribe or purchase episodes ITV will have done a deal with them to air some of their series.
Will Awesomeness TV have requested that they have YouTubers (if that's a word) present links or would it be ITV's choice?
It's based upon the deal that ITV's had with AwesomenessTV to provide content for ITV2.
I'm expecting some dedicated presentation for 2Awesome - seeing that they are pushing it to bits.
Also they've got a DOG highlighting the days counting to the launch of the strand.

On the ITV Hub (App at least) the itv2 logo was displayed top right with no placement for 2Awesome.
As for the first link. It works well, recorded was expected but why the filmic effect and the shot of the side of their head as they talk into a different camera.
As for this first programme, I'm glad that I'm not a teenager anymore as these sort of programmes with stuck up annoying teenage girls who think that they own the world really annoy me.
Boring observation but the dog advertising 2Awesome has replaced any reference to "ITV2" and on +1 there's a simple "+1" blob on the right of the screen. That is all.

Kind of, you get no ads and access to exclusive content such as the AwesomenessTV stuff, plus a free google play music subscription. Interesting to note, YouTube Red currently is not available in the UK (but the content can be still purchased individually)
