It's C4 birthday today - 24 years since it launched but more interestingly just one year away from it's silver anniversary!

Now C4 hasn't really marked it's birthday since the "4 is 15" season in 1997, but I don't think they can let 25 years go by unnoticed.

So, to give C4 time to take our advise on board, how would you like to see C4 celebrate next year.

To start you off, a few pretty obvious ideas:

Arrow 100 Greatest C4 Programmes (or C4 moments)

Arrow Big Brother All Stars - love it or hate it, you can't deny Big Brother is an important part of C4's recent history and if C4 were to ever do an "All Star" series, this would be the best opportunity.

Arrow Countdown - Champion of Champions of Champions

Arrow Classic dramas and documentaries on More4, C4 films on Film4 and a selection of programmes on C4 and E4.

Arrow Idents - in the current style but with a special twist - either with a silver "4" or incorporating the original colour scheme.

Nothing terribly innovative there - well, I don't want to steal your thunder! Laughing

How about a gameshow comprising of a group of 15 people who are in this maze, they then have to go through the maze with Richard O Brian, eventually these 15 people are whittled down to 3 remaining contestants because the others get locked in with Richard's mum who is still knocking about in the Medieval zone. When they have been whittled down to three, they each have three lives and answer as many questions (or nominate) as they can. When the first contestant is out, a giant clock is introduced with a 9 letter word they have to guess in thirty seconds, the one who gets this gets to go on and have an attempt at winning £250000 by opening various boxes.

Some sort of highlights package of great C4 moments set to the complete Fourscore, broadcast at the exact moment C4 started in 1982, followed by 'Countdown'.

Didn't they do a 'Supreme Championship' of Countdown in 1996?

They celebrated their 15th birthday in a variety of manner including a couple of Comic Strip presents including the first ever one shown on the first day of Channel 4. A brand new Last Resort with Jonathon Ross. A minipops style clipshow featuring two programmes per year over the 15 years. A repeat of Don't Forget Your Toothbrush and more when this was shown at Christmas 1997.

And yet, incredibly, it was one of the channel's first ratings successes.

Surely about time for another one then!

I'd like a Brass Eye special too - it's what the War on Terror has been missing!

Minutes after posting the BBC should be looking at original ideas I know, but if any show deserves a comeback it's The Crystal Maze.

And I know opinion is split on him, but I think it's a format which would suit Russell Brand perfectly!
