Not really, look back at the 80s for example. One year, Robins, other, holly, and some others. Check TV-Ark if you want to prove me wrong.

I hope that this year BBC ONE will use both Snowflake and Christmas Puddings to give a bit of variety. Last year I was sick and tired of seeing the Christmas Puddings bouncing around in every junction for two weeks. I doubt there will be a new ident this year for BBC ONE but most likely one for BBC TWO.
