Hi everyone, just want to say all you 24 fans are in for a right treat when the new season commences at the end of the month. Season 4 begun last week in the states and also available for download via torrent.

They have done it yet again with this season. Excellent start and great story. I'm yet again hooked!!!!!

If anyone wants the details to the most reliable torrent site, PM me. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here. If someone can okay it then I'll post. They are definately worth downloading. DIVX files and DVD quality.

We're already up to episode 5. I believe Sky are screening 2 in one week, so the UK will be at least 6 episodes behind the states. CAN YOU WAIT THAT LONG???????????????

Episodes 1-4 seem repetitive and very slow. Jack spent 40 minutes of Episode 4 doing just one thing, and the plot is just recycled from previous years. I'm sort of enjoying it, but not impressed at the level of drama or innovation in storylines.

Biggest problem though is the pace - this series seems so slow - I want this storyline wrapped up and twisted soon so we find out who's behind this plot, then who's behind them etc etc.

Sigh.

I had to wait for the DVD boxset to watch season 3. I still don't know the basic theme of this season, Nukes, A Deadly Virus, now what?

Highlight below for spoiler of the very tame variety.

Plot: Think season one...

Thats helpful, anyone know what the end of Seaon 2 was all about, the "hand thing" did that have a point or was it just something for the writers to do because they could.

The only thing about the 'hand' thing is that the girl who did it was (in the minds of some conspiracy theorists) also something to do with Season 3. But not much. I wouldn't be surprised if she reappears in the new season.

The girl who did it was Mandy from Season One.

Seen the first 4 hours of Day 4.

It doesn't disappoint, especially the first 2 hours.

Undoubtedly the strongest start to a 24 series ever- and they seem to be getting better at designing a plot that will last 24 hours (unlike Day 1 with 2 x 12 hours plots stuck together with a tedious amnesia sketch!).

Still the best drama on TV.

Day 3 was awful really. Whilst there are many aspects to the first 2 that are stand out in my mind, Day 3 really was forgettable, especially the Presidents side to the story.

Anyway, at least Nina is gone now, it was getting beyond a joke how she was behind every single terrorist threat, nuclear bomb, president assassination, deadly virus. There aren't that many characters to reprise now following the death count in the last one, so it could be a new beginning for the series.

I'll miss Sherry though, she was fab, in a Dynasty kind of way.

Hopefully in this new one Jack has got over his drug problem, Kim isn't in it and Wayne has done a disappearing act. That would be a good start.

I must disagree about Day 3, I thought it was generally very, very good. Agreed the President's story was a little annoying, but at least it finally took care of Sherry. However the CTU side was fantastic, the main twists (8 eps in, and 13-ish) were absolutely fantastic, I think probably the strongest series with regard to CTU. Although it was a little harsh locking Tony up.
