Sky Travel viewers will be able to see the first episode of the new series of 24 - but there is a catch. The rest will only be screened on Sky One.

I notice lately more Sky One programmes appearing on the station, most notably the Ewan McGregor Long Way Round series.

Why Sky Travel? I can understand the Ewan McGregor show being on there, but why 24?! What's that got to do with travelling on holiday?

Not a lot, except that it's set in a foreign country that you would have to travel to get to. Wink

This is obviously another marketing stunt by Sky to get Freeview viewers to subscribe to their pay TV service to see the rest of the series. It could hardly go on Sky Sports News or Sky News (the other Sky channels on Freeview) could it?
