This is a topic dedicated to the great drama known as 24. I am new to the programme in all honesty, I recently purchased Season 1 and I love it. I am going to work my way up through the seasons until eventually I catch up with Season 5 and can enjoy it as much as everyone else. Not worrying about spoilers etc.

What are your opinions on this fantastic drama, does it impress you, is it overated? Give me your thoughts and opinions and please NO SPOILERS. Some of us havn't watched all the seasons yet.^_^

If not, season 4 is my personal fave.

Gotta disagree. To me Season 1 was easily the best, because it was the first. Everything since then is not as shocking because you can predict that SOMETHING will change at the last minute.

Do you remember the episode where one of Jack's closest associates turned out to have a secret interest in the plot? Bowled me over.

Since then, I've trusted no-one.

I suggest you watch season 5 then on Sky now or DVD in a few months. "OMG" does not sum it up, like killing 2 main characters straight off.

I also think part of the fun is you know Jack will be in some auful situation with no hope, but he'll somehow get out of it.

I personally love 24, I won the first series on DVD a while back but never bothered watching it for ages because it looked a bit boring. Man I'm glad I finally did! I've been hooked since!

Was wondering, however... have any of the terrestrial channels shown any of it other than series 1? I've never seen it on 1-5, I'd have thought they'd have snapped it up.

BBC Two/Three had seasons 1 and 2, then Sky brought the rights to season 3,4 and are currently airing season 5.

Season 1 is ace and I love how every episode makes your heart beat faster and faster.

There's nothing like a TV show that keeps you hooked for hours on end and makes you watch episode after episode after episode.

24 = One of the best things on TV in recent times.
