What has happened to ITV and its cross partnerships with international broadcasters to create new series? STV, did it all the time, also Cosgrove Hall Films did plenty. ( it was anglia at the time)...

It was for Family Fortunes and Bullseye, not Blockbusters. I would have guessed the reason they chose the Yorkshire Television ident is because it ran for 2 more years than the Central version.

I don't think it suggests anything of the sort. I think it's more to do with the fact that most of the clips in that programme came from Arena when Alan Yentob was running that, but now he does Imagine....

The second run of The Mash Report seems to have been much more successful in terms of getting noticed - not sure if that is reflected in the ratings. Good to have someting that isn't a panel show...

The deal would value Sky at £22.1 billion

I know Fox wants it. But at the same time I can see the board going with Comcast so there wouldn’t be any hassles or them having to deal with a seperate transaction later down the line.
