4K images. Not sure why they are so dark, either my setup or perhaps something to do with the feed TRT have:
My initial thought would be that they're HDR images that haven't gone through the correct conversion process for SDR, but I find it hard to believe that would have made it to air!
(also, having only seen that once, I can't remember if that results in the pictures looking very sat up or very sat down. Either way, the channel bug appearing correctly is probably a clue that it's the feed they've got that's the problem.)
Unusually for me, I'm really not keen on the ITV studio. The virtual reality looks so obviously fake and I really wish they didn't use it. Maybe it will grow on me, but not a fan at the moment.
They have exclusive rights. They sublicensed sone Euro 2016 games alright to TV3, but didn’t feel the need this time around.

The subtitles for the first ten minutes or so were below the scoreboard but then moved higher which then covered the scoreboard.
The HD picture wasn't very HD - compared to Soccer Aid last week with my TV on the exact same setting. Had to put natural setting but that has its draw backs with the shots of Putin and the Crown Prince looking too bright and the Pitch maybe too Green.
The Virtual Reality might have been better all studio shots rather than swapping between it and the real background - through I don't really like it.
So, wherever you are in the world and watch F1, all the graphics are the same.
So, wherever you are in the world and watch the Olympics, all the graphics are the same.
So, wherever you are in the world and watch ATP Tennis, all the graphics are the same.
So, what is FIFA/HBS's problem in specifying all broadcasters take the same graphics as each other as seen in the world feed?
ITV have a different score/time bar, to the BBC's in terms of size and font. Both will have a different score/time bar to Fox Sports, etc.
Why the inconsistency? It's not beyond the abilities of a graphic designer to come up with a template, where broadcasters can drop their channel logo into on the left hand side, and for the more commercial minded broadcasters, space to put a static advertiser logo on the right hand side.
Seems strange we are in 2018 and most sports have provided a consistent set of tv graphics for their coverage and yet FIFA/HBS are happy to let rights holders to do their own thing with important information graphic in the top left hand side of the screen.
It's only one element and often looks better for the channel to do the thing in it's entirity than stick a logo over it. In terms of football the Europa League (and UEFA qualifying) are more the exception than the rule.
