'Sing Sing Africa' and 'Braziiiiil' have been the last two. Both great. This tournament both offerings are bad, for the first time since 2002.

Sponsor wise, it's interesting (that is the most overwhelming sentence I have ever uttered). Budweiser have the most idents, with 50%, and decided to simply go for their international advertising campaign for the World Cup (drones to Russia). VW have gone for some funny idents which feature some people with extreme confidence (one person getting an 'England Champions 2018' tattoo) and so have Screwfix (the usual sponsor of England's coverage) with some workers named after famous footballers from England acting out scenes based upon them. Budweiser have idents in every break at the intro, start of ad breaks and the end, whilst VW and Screwfix rotate in the second sponsor role.

Camera work by the host broadcasters so far is fairly poor! Hopefully they're more used to football matches than Robbie Williams.

Robbie Williams is a noted Port Vale fan, so very used to football matches (though probably not to the same standard as the World Cup)

I'm watching now via my subbed package and the RTE2HD picture even via IPTV across the continent is better than ITVHD. Is there something wrong in their broadcast chain?
